The environmental
legal services area is broad and inclusive of defense of environmental crimes;
civil litigation; natural resources; environmental audits; construction; eminent
domain; government relations; permitting and regulatory compliance;
transportation, maritime, and spill response management (pollution incidents);
emergency response (Note: September 11, 2001 has resulted in numerous bills
related to homeland security that have impacted federal legislation governing
matters as diverse as immigration, finance, labor, intellectual property, ports,
transportation, energy, environment, food and drugs); Brownfields;
development; energy; international environmental transactions; toxic torts;
waste disposal and recycling; and industrial processes.
